Dr. Langer Medical reports excellent results for 2022
Waldkirch, March 13, Germany – Dr. Langer GmbH achieves excellent results for the business year 2022 with an impressive growth of 30%. This success was primarily due to the future oriented expansion of the company“s structure as well as the neuromonitor AVALANCHE® PLUS.
The innovative medical devices from Dr. Langer Medical have become indispensable in the localisation, monitoring and documentation of nerve and brain functions during complex procedures in the operating theatres of numerous surgical disciplines and are a fundamental contribution for ensuring patient safety.
By consistently focusing on research and creating new concepts for the digital OR, the tech company based in the Black Forest is in an excellent position to face the challenges of the next few years.
With a view to ensuring tomorrow“s success, the company took decisive steps in 2022.
Additional staff have been recruited for the International Sales team and the Regulatory Affairs department so that the company can access new attractive international markets.
Furthermore, Dr. Langer Medical can profit from the immense resources it gained after the globally active company Brainlab AG in Munich took it over in August 2022. It now has access to a world-wide network of more than 6,000 hospitals in the fields of ENT/oral and maxillofacial surgery, as well as spinal and neurosurgery.
The integration of the first important processes of Dr. Langer into the Brainlabs infrastructure is well underway, the development teams are already working together full speed on new ambitious solutions for merging digital information and making it available during surgical interventions, as well as for improving the efficiency of clinical workflows.
New staff were hired for the Development department, and the search for additional skilled workers for the Production and Logistics departments is in progress.
Mr. Martin Immerz, who previously held a senior position at Brainlab AG, joined the executive management team in the beginning of 2023 as Director of Development, QM and Operations.
