In order to customize its offering in the online shop even more, Conrad Electronic is using the Realtime Decisioning Engine from realtime analysis specialists prudsys.
Six months after implementation of the Realtime Decisioning Engine (prudsys RDE) in its German online shop, Conrad Electronic is satisfied with the introduction of customised real-time recommendations.
Conrad Electronic’s online shop has been one of the top ten most visited internet shopping sites in Germany with on average 6 million visits per month for years. With a range of over 220,000 items the company is one of the leading multi-channel suppliers of electronics and technology in Europe.
Last summer the company, which is based in Hirschau, decided to deploy the prudsys RDE in its online shop. The prudsys RDE is considered the leading realtime recommendation solution in the European market and stood out above all as a result of its technological advantage over the other systems used to date by numerous mail order companies around the world and the top 100 mail order companies in Germany.
Within just three weeks the prudsys RDE was successfully integrated into the German online shop environment so as early as August 2011 customers were able to benefit from the new, customised recommendations.

The prudsys RDE persuaded Conrad Electronic not only on the basis of the high quality of the recommendations but also as a result of its module structure that allows additional innovative business cases to be integrated quickly and easily.
As a result of the positive results the prudsys RDE was also integrated successfully at the end of last year into the Austrian Conrad online shop. prudsys IREUS, the SaaS version of the realtime analysis software, is also used in the international shop conrad.com and the Conrad shops in Poland, Sweden and Slovenia.
