From March 6 to 7, 2013 the SCHEMA User Conference took place in the Novina Hotel Herzogenaurach. With 250 participants, talks and workshops, a well attended trade fair area and an obvious internationalization of the event by using simultaneous interpreters for the talks nothing was left to be desired. „As every year our User Conference was the highlight of the business year for our company“, stated Stefan Freisler, CEO of SCHEMA. „No other event provides so many opportunities to exchange opinions with our customers and business partners as our annual customer event.“ In the 18 years since the foundation of the company a strong customer loyalty to SCHEMA could be established. „Good performance clearly pays off here!“ says Marcus Kesseler, CEO of SCHEMA. „Meanwhile SCHEMA ST4 is used in 15 different countries. This is also the reason why we used four simultaneous interpreters at the User Conference this year to have our talks and workshops translated. We like to further internationalization.“
An almost historical overview came from Rolf Künzli of Siemens Switzerland AG with his „Journey Through Time – From the Beginnings to the Present with ST4“. The important content on the use of SCHEMA ST4 in the most diverse departments of companies was provided by ÖBB Personenverkehr (Austrian Federal Rail Passenger Service) and VON ARDENNE Anlagentechnik GmbH, Pilz GmbH & Co. KG, Bosch Rexroth AG, Steuler Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG, Ottobock Healthcare and Philips Healthcare. Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Ziegler of the Hochschule Karlsruhe (University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe) gave an interesting and demanding talk „Content Intelligence for Content Management Systems – CMS Quantities with the REx Method“ on the topic of monitoring and optimization of company-wide CM processes on the basis of consistent metrics.
The youngest company of the SCHEMA group the SCHEMA Systems GmbH went public at the User Conference. The SCHEMA Systems was founded March 1, 2012 to be able to offer our already existing as well as future customers even more professionalism and flexibility from mere application management via hosting to even providing their complete ST4 solution.
Additionally with the SCHEMA Reader App Suite content of the technical documentation can now be presented on tablets and smart phones. The taxonomies from the SCHEMA ST4 editing system help create concepts in the Reader App.
