For the first time D.C. Media Networks (DCMN) and deutsche-startups.de are initiating a contest for ecommerce startups. The winner gets a high quality TV campaign amounting to 70.000 Euros
For the first time Berlin based communication and media agency D.C. Media Networks is initiating together with the online magazine deutsche-startups.de a contest for digital commerce startups. The contest requires that the digital commerce startup has a successful product on the market but has not yet advertised on TV.
Online but not yet TV campaigns
“If you do it the right way, TV spots immediately advance your company”, says Matthias Riedl, one of the founders of D.C. Media Networks. Startups from all kinds of branches of trade whose first turnovers are generated by transaction-based business (online/mobile) can apply. Experience with online advertising (AdWords, retargeting, second screen, RTA, RTB, cpo, cpx etc.) is required. Applications are welcomed until January 15, 2014. The most convincing business model will be honored.

It only makes sense that DCMN is doing the contest together with deutsche-startups.de, since “promotion and networking of german startups is our core business”, comments chief editor Alexander Hüsing regarding the cooperation with the agency. From all applications received, ten favorites will be selected in January 2014. The finalists will be presented by deutsche-startups.de and promoted publicly. From these ten finalists the winner will be determined “by the readers of deutsche-startups.de, fans of final participants and the networking community of DCMN, who will have – and this is what is unique about this award – the opportunity to vote for their favorites”, says Andreas Dengler, who together with Matthias Riedl leads the agency DCMN. The vote of the public and the vote of each of the prize initiators will count equally and respectively for one-third of the decision.
The prize: A TV campaign
The winner startup can look forward to having a TV campaign realized by D.C. Media Networks. The campaign contains creation development, production of a TV spot, TV media services, performance oriented media planning and media controlling, including campaign-tracking. “Many startups have brilliant business ideas but don”t reach the breakthrough because they lack professional support”, asserts Matthias Riedl. “We like to get involved passionately as we know target-oriented sponsorship can bring the breakthrough.” The winner will be announced in March 2014 at ECHTZEIT, an event organized by deutsche-startups.de
