Innovation from Germany prevents slipping-away of cargo
Dangerous: unsecured, heavy load can easily slip out of position or even fall down when it is transported with rolling boards without security equipment. This implies a high accident risk for the user and the risk that the load could be damaged. Forewarned is forearmed: the security transport aid „Barrera“, a new development from the German manufacturer Wagner, events slipping-away and secures the cargo with hinged bordering elements on all four sides of the loading platform.
The security barriers of the „Barrera“ prevent the load from slipping and sliding down. „Heavy-goods-carriages“ on uneven floorings or with smooth, slippery load have thus no more hazard potential, because the bordering elements, easily folded upwards with a „Push + Pull“ mechanism, enable a safe and comfortable transport. Also overlaying load can be moved in a simple way without hazards: just fold the barriers down to get a plane loading platform, and fix the load with tension belts. The quality of material and processing of the „Barrera“ is exemplary and 100 % „Made in Germany“: the loading platform is made of a stable in shape, 18 mm thick beech wood Multiplex-board in the sizes 630 mm x 430 mm. The wood originates from sustainable forestry and is FSC-certified. The load capacity of the safety roller is enormous: four easy-running transport castors with a robust and durable roller bearing allow the moving of loads with a weight of up to 400 kg. Two ergonomic designed Ergo carry handles in the long- and narrow side of the loading platform make the carriage to the „place of action“ easy. The „Barrera“ fulfils highest demands on quality, safety and product design. This is exemplified by the quality seal „Wagner quality tested“, unbeatable twenty-five years of manufacturer“s guarantee – and the nomination for the „German Design Award“ 2014 for good design and high innovation strength.
